Keppel wins $990m deal from Maersk for four jackups

Keppel FELS Ltd has won contracts worth over S$990 million from AP Moller – Maersk A/S of Denmark to build four jackup rigs. Keppel FELS Ltd has won contracts worth over S$990 million from AP Moller – Maersk A/S of Denmark to build four jackup rigs. Keppel FELS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore’s Keppel Corp, a marine engineering and property conglomerate. The first rig is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2007, while the rest will be delivered consecutively in half-yearly intervals thereafter, Keppel Corp said.
