A naval training ship affiliated to an East Sussex borough is paying it a visit on Sunday. HMS Puncher has been linked to Eastbourne for six years and will pick up the town’s mayor, Councillor Barbara Goodall, in Brighton on her way. The navy patrol vessel will dock in Eastbourne at midday and stay in the harbour for two days, giving the public the chance to come aboard.
