A 400-foot (120-meter) cargo ship carrying dry goods remained grounded Sunday after striking a coral reef off St. Croix’s south coast, the U.S. Coast Guard said. The Sea Cloud had dozens of cargo containers aboard and 335,000 gallons (1.27 million liters) of diesel fuel in its five gas tanks, said Lt. Eric Willis, a Coast Guard spokesman.
