Pasha Hawaii Transport Lines held a Hawaiian blessing and cocktail reception Tuesday evening to mark its entry into the busy Hawaii maritime shipping market. The party was at Pier 19, not far from the brand-new Jean Anne, Pasha’s only ship, a $90 million, 579-foot “ro-ro” vessel, which had offloaded most of its maiden cargo of more than 2,200 cars, trucks, buses, boats, trailers and tractors. The company called it the largest single shipment of vehicles from the mainland to Hawaii.
