Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., the world’s second-largest shipbuilder, won orders valued at $850 million from Germany for 10 container ships.Daewoo Mangalia Heavy Industries SA, the Romanian unit, received orders from Hamburg Sud for six vessels able to carry 5,200 standard 20-foot containers each, Daewoo Shipbuilding said in a statement. The ships are scheduled for delivery by March 2009.
