Following the opening of the Suez Canal Container Terminal (SCCT) in Port Said, Maersk Sealand is now carrying out the transfer of several services from Gioia Tauro, Italy to Port Said, Egypt. This change to the service pattern is the result of an agreement concluded between SCCT and Maersk Sealand, involving that a number of Mediterranean linked services and feeders will be operated in Port Said in the future.
