A fire in a decommissioned Russian naval submarine, at a recycling facility at the northern Zvyozdochka shipyard, killed at least one person and injured another, an emergency official said on Monday.
The injured worker is in a hospital in very serious condition, Zvyozdochka’s chief engineer Viktor Frolov told NTV commercial channel.
Experts are investigating the cause of the explosion, he said.
