The Carnival Cruise company, founded and controlled by Israel’s Arison family, has been brought in to assist in the New Orleans disaster. The U.S. government has chartered three of Carnival’s luxury cruise liners – Ecstasy, Sensation and Holiday – for the next six months to provide temporary housing for victims of Hurricane Katrina, Carnival Cruise Lines said on Saturday.
