Despite a public outcry about the potential impact of a terminal, the State Government yesterday said construction could begin in 2007. Deputy Premier and State Development Minister Anna Bligh visited the Coast to unveil a masterplan for the proposed cruise terminal as part of a broader marine development for the Southport Spit.
