The Nigerian government has expanded its bilateral relations in oil sector with friendly foreign countries in the interest of the national economy, a high- ranking Nigerian official said at the weekend. “The government has deliberately expanded the scope of its relations with foreign countries in order to accelerate developmental efforts,” Minister of State for Petroleum Resources Edmund Daukoru told reporters in the capital Abuja.
