DryShips Inc. said on Tuesday, it entered into an agreement to acquire a second-hand Panamax drybulk carrier called m.v. Atacama. The company noted that the vessel would be acquired with a timecharter attached at a daily rate of $29,000 until February 2007 and thereafter at a daily rate of $18,400 until February 2008.
