Goa Shipyard Ltd (GSL) is poised to make a landmark event in the Indian shipbuilding history with the launching of two vessels and commissioning of one vessel on April 28. A11 these vessels have been designed and built by GSL for the Indian Coast Guard. The two vessels to be launched include one extra fast patrol vessel (XFPV) and one advanced offshore patrol vessel (AOPV). The 105mts AOPV will be the biggest vessel ever built for Indian Coast Guard. The XFPV will be the fifth in series built by GSL.
