The Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (VINASHIN) and its subsidiary, the Ha Long Shipbuilding Plant, on May 9 fixed a deal to build eight vessels to carry autos for the Ray Car Carried Limited Company of Israel, at the price tag of close to US $1 billion. Designed by the Italian company, Naval Progetti, each vessel will be 185.6 metres long, 32.26 metres wide, and 36.56 metres high.
