Experts call for better shipyard facilities – Qatar

Shipyard capacity needs to be vastly upgraded to meet growing world demand for LNG (liquefied natural gas) vessels since transport is a key element in the LNG supply chain. Global LNG experts who were in Doha to attend a two-day forum on Middle East LNG shipping that concluded yesterday, equivocally called for enhancing LNG shipbuilding capacity worldwide.
