Extra security workers will be on duty for the return to port Sunday morning of the Mariner of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean cruise ship which is home-ported at Port Canaveral. The ship has been in the news since one of the passengers was lost at sea on Monday. “There will be some heightened security at the port because of the heightened media interest,” said Canaveral Port Authority Chief Executive Officer Stan Payne. “We want to keep an orderly flow of traffic going in and out of the port.”
