On Friday 12th of May 2006, DAMEN and COTECMAR of Cartagena, Colombia signed a contract for the construction of two Damen Stan Tugs 2208. The vessels are expected to be delivered by mid 2007. The tugs will be constructed for Damen’s stock position and are the result of many years of close cooperation between the companies on various projects for the Colombian Navy and the immediate result of the Strategic Alliance signed last 4th of November 2005.
