Keppel Shipyard pleads guilty to strict liability offence on incident on board the vessel, Almudaina

42(a) of the Factories (Shipbuilding and Ship-Repair Regulations (Cap 104 Rg11)) arising from the fire on board the vessel Almudaina at its Benoi yard on 29 May 2004. Keppel Shipyard was charged for failing to ensure that the site for hot-work, No 3 Starboard Cargo tank, was free from any hazardous

Keppel Shipyard was charged for failing to ensure that the site for hot-work, No 3 Starboard Cargo tank, was free from any hazardous substances before the hot-work permit was issued to carry out hot-work in the tank.
