Clipper 05-06: Sunshine sailing

Sunshine, 20 knots of wind from the north and spinnakers flying. This is the part that makes up for the cold, wet, miserable bits and despite the cold weather lasting longer than many had hoped, the layers are finally coming off as temperatures rise. Speeds are good all round, although Jersey have been struggling with a spinnaker pole track that has now come off the mast twice, and this probably accounts for their slower daily run. The rest of the fleet have all managed to gain on Uniquely Singapore, and once again Durban have managed to creep up to be almost neck and neck, continually keeping the pressure on.
