Environment experts have expressed concern about the extent of damage by the oil spill caused by the breaking up of cargo vessel Ocean Seraya off the coast of Karwar. Samples taken from the affected area have been sent for analysis and the reports are expected by the end of the week. Many dead fish have been washed ashore in the last one-week after Ocean Seraya, a Panamanian cargo vessel carrying 650 metric tonnes of furnace oil, broke into two parts.
