Transas takes out a patent for Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator

Transas is proud to officially announce their patent application for a Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator, intended for training tanker and terminal operators. The application was lodged on the 10th of April 2006 in the Russian State Register of Inventions. The system, which is one of the leading company simulation developments, was registered with priority from 16 August 2004. Taking out a patent for invention was the result of the creation of a fundamentally new simulator, as well as a whole range of successful technological solutions, such as: named data server, network message router, logger and interactive Instructor software with set of slave tasks,. Successful solutions have also been developed in the field of numerical simulation flow in hydraulic pipeline systems and assurance stress resistance of the structures.
