Jumbo exercises option for 4th 1,800t lift capacity J-class vessel.
In 2004, Dutch heavy lift ship operator Jumbo set a world record with the introduction of the first J-Class 1,600t lift capacity vessels, the mv Jumbo Javelin and the mv Fairpartner. In order to meet the growing demand of the oil & gas industry, last year September, owners decided to further expand their fleet and ordered a third J-class vessel with an option for a fourth. To further their commitment, Jumbo has decided to take up its operating option for the 4th newbuilding J-class vessel.
