Well the wind has at last filled in and judging by the grib file shown here on the chart for 0400 the boats should now see some consistent south westerly winds for the next few days. The northern boats were definitely favoured over those in the south and it is likely that we will see a general move in this direction over the next 12 hours as there remains the chance of lighter airs ahead of Cardiff and Durban.
