Samsung Heavy Industries(SHI) received the Chang Young Sil IR52 Award for building a large passenger ship on July 19. This ship was highly praised for applying the integrated fire safety system for the first time in the world.
The passenger ship will run through the Dover Strait between the UK and France. It is a 35,000 ton large passenger ship that can carry 780 passengers, 120 large trailers, and 210 passenger cars.
