PRODUCTION from two new projects helped push Santos’s sales revenue for the first half to a record $1.3 billion, up 29 per cent on a year earlier. The company’s first-half production was 28.7 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe) – a record – up 2.4 mmboe on the first six calendar months of 2005.
This was achieved on an 8.8 per cent production boost in the three months ended June to 14.9 mmboe, while sales revenue rose 25 per cent in the quarter to $691.5 million.
