A 1,500lb Second World War bomb has been detonated off the Suffolk coast – creating a 300ft plume. The German air drop mine was trawled up by a fishing vessel on Monday afternoon, before being placed back on the sea bed, about one mile off the coast of Shingle Street, near Woodbridge.
