Greek shipping company Danaos Shipping Co., Ltd., has pleaded guilty to discharging oil in the Port of Long Beach from one of its ships and to obstructing a federal investigation into the leak, prosecutors said.
A company representative entered the pleas Monday to a felony charge of obstruction of a Coast Guard investigation and a misdemeanor count of negligently discharging oil, the U.S. Attorney’s office said.
