San Rafael company has agreed to pay a $735,000 fine to settle a complaint charging it with dumping dredged material from its disposal vessels more than 200 times outside designated disposal areas of the Pacific Ocean.
The U.S. environmental Protection Agency and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reached the out of court settlement with the Dutra Dredging Company.
