Kochi, Aug. 18 (PTI): Sulphuric acid leaked from a tanker transporting about 8000 litres of the acid from the Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT)’s Udyogamandal plant to its Ambelamedu plant here today.
The leakage was noticed as the tanker was passing through Kakkanad near the district collectorate, fire force personnel who immediately rushed to the spot, said.
