Firefighters have spent three hours controlling a blaze in the engine room of a tugboat in the Solent. The crew, who alerted emergency services just after 0200 BST on Sunday, sealed off the area and returned to the dockside in Southampton, Hampshire.
None of the four people on board the 385 ton vessel, Lyndhurst, were injured, a fire service spokesman said.
An investigation carried out by boat operator Adsteam Marine is expected to reveal a fuel leak triggered the fire.
