The SMM 2006 is setting up new records in all areas. The leading character of the SMM as the world’s largest shipbuilding event is underscored by the number of companies exhibiting, (1669), international participation (50 nations), total exhibition space (75,000 square metres) and the number and level of conferences and specialist events. The 22nd Shipbuilding, Machinery & Marine Technology, International Trade Fair Hamburg, will be held on the enlarged Hamburg Fair site from 26 to 29 September, with expected attendance of some 40,000 trade visitors from all continents.
