Ocean Yacht Systems extended its support to one of its major customers, by sponsoring the prestigious Perini Navi Cup which was held in Sardinia from the 7th to 10th of September 2006. The Regatta exclusively for Perini yachts of 36 to 88 metres saw a record 17 of these magnificent Superyachts on show, including OYS rigged boats Rosehearty, Santa Maria, Parsifal III and Squall. The sailing was directed by Vela & Vino Yacht Events and the Porto Rotondo Yacht Club hosted the event. This year?s event was a great success with OYS?s Mike Orange and Mark Barwell winning the Credit Suisse Match Racing Trophy as part of the sailing crew of the 50 metre ketch Is A Rose.

Having rigged over 90% of Perini Navi?s fleet with standing rigging and hydraulic systems, OYS have forged a very strong alliance with the Italian Superyacht yard through years of innovative designs, technical support and unsurpassable customer service. A number of fleet boats have also undergone major rig refits as part of the OYS Service Programme, such as Galaxia and Atmosphere which were two boats refitted earlier this year.
