LADY IN BLUE, with in-house naval architecture and engineering by Amels, was launched in spring 2004 for clients who enjoyed having many guests aboard, and also placed the yacht in charter. To have room for a highly social lifestyle, the yacht’s interior volume was enlarged by Amels by extending the superstructure several meters over a well-proven 52-meter hullform. This resulted in an unusually large owners’ suite and grand main-deck saloon and dining area, and a bridge-deck lounge that, with its afterdeck, can be converted to a disco.
