Seminar calls for more Dutch investment in Da Nang

Representatives from enterprises in central Da Nang city and five major Dutch companies gathered at a seminar entitled “Da Nang, a destination for Netherlands- Viet Nam business cooperation” held in the city on Sept. 12.

Hanspeter Verhoeff, Economic and Commercial Charge d’affaires of the Netherlands Embassy in Ha Noi, said the workshop aimed at boosting economic and trade ties between businesses of the Netherlands and Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole.

The official noted that there are opportunities for Dutch businesses to invest in seaports, shipbuilding, seafood processing, safe water supply, waste treatment and environmental protection in Da Nang – one of Viet Nam’s largest economic centres.
