Norwegian offshore services company Siem Offshore Inc. (SIOFF.OS) Thursday said it has signed a five-year charter contract worth $80 million with Veolia Environment Inc. (VE) for its multipurpose Field & ROV support vessel. Veolia Environment has an option to purchase the vessel at the end of the five years firm charter at a price of approximately $50 million. The vessel is under construction at the Kleven yard and is scheduled for delivery in June 2007.
