Indonesia awards oil contracts to five companies

The Indonesian government Friday signed joint oil productions contracts worth 218 million U.S. dollars with five companies, according to local media reports.

Petronas Carigali Overseas won the contract for offshore oil field in Lampung province, Husky Energy Int. got offshore field in East Java , Marathon International won the onshore and offshore fields in West Sulawesi, Exxon Mobil Corp signed deal for offshore field in West Sulawesi and Conoco Philips was awarded with offshore field in the Arafura Sea, the reports said.
