Two Canadian tuna fishermen were rescued unharmed off the Oregon coast by a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter after floating on a life raft for two hours in swells as high as five metres.
The Silver Bear, a 16-metre wooden fishing boat that was almost 100 years old, sank in the Pacific Ocean about 220 kilometres west of Cape Disappointment, Wash., Friday morning.
