KARACHI: Cargo handling stood at 76,987 tonnes at the Port Qasim, comprising 56,438 tonnes of import and 20,549 tonnes of export cargo inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 2,148 containers, during 24 hours ended at 0800 hours on Monday.

Three ships scheduled to load and offload containers and cement took berths at the Qasim International Container Terminal and Multi Purpose Terminal on Sunday. Meanwhile, two ships with containers and chemicals arrived at the outer anchorage of the port.
