Todd Pacific Shipyards Corp. of Seattle has won a $6.5 million contract to overhaul the Alaska state ferry Malaspina, the company announced Thursday.
The work is to be done at Todd’s facilities in Seattle, and is to be completed by April 5, 2007. Todd performs a variety of overhauls of large commercial, military, and passenger ships. The company is a subsidiary of Todd Shipyards Corp., which is publicly traded. Todd has operated a shipyard in Seattle since 1916.
