Great satisfaction for Azimut Yachts shipyard at the Genoa Boat Show, where the brand new Azimut 47 was presented to the public and to the international press. The worldwide premiere of Azimut 47 was immediately celebrated by the award of the title Boat of the Year 2007 promoted by the prestigious nautical magazine Vela e Motore.
The number of visitors doubled at Azimut Yachts stand compared to last year edition, reaching 20.000 units, coming from 64 different countries. Marcello Lippi (Coach of the Italian World Cup Winner Football Team), the Formula 1 drivers Giancarlo Fisichella and Heinz Harald Frentzen were among the VIP people who visited the 2500 square meters exhibition area which hosted 18 models of the shipyard.
The commercial results of the boat show confirm the positive trend of the season: over 100 retail orders for new boats were collected. High requests came from emerging countries such as Russia, China
