It’s a world in which some vessels that were shown a month ago in Monaco were sold just as brokers in Palm Beach were polishing the chrome for the world’s largest look-see. The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show opens Thursday and continues through Oct. 30.
According to industry experts, the scene at Port d’Hercule, the docks in the tiny Mediterranean principality of Monaco, is a good indicator of what the boat-buying mood will be in Lauderdale.
