Japan’s Penta-Ocean wins US$36 mln order for UAE dredging pjt

Penta-Ocean Construction Co. (TSE:1893) has received a 4.3 billion yen (US$36 million) order for reclamation work on a man-made island construction project in the United Arab Emirates. Penta-Ocean Construction Co. (TSE:1893) has received a 4.3 billion yen (US$36 million) order for reclamation work on a man-made island construction project in the United Arab Emirates.

Placed by Dutch firm Van Oord Gulf FZE, the lead contractor on the project, the order is for reclaiming 5.8 million cubic metres of sand by dredging areas near the island.
