Large-scale merger and acquisition (M&A) deals are expected to continue into 2007, as Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. and other big firms will be put up for sale while potential buyers are loaded with cash, analysts said.

Among major firms on the sales list are Ssangyong Engineering & Construction Co., Daewoo International Corp., Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co., Woori Financial Group and Korea Express.
