Navy Awards General Dynamics $51 Million For Sub Maintenance and Modernization Work

On Dec. 28, 2006, the U.S. Navy awarded General Dynamics Electric Boat a $50.7 million contract to perform routine maintenance and modernization work on the USS Albany (SSN-753), a Los Angeles-class attack submarine. Electric Boat is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD).
