Recently a contract was signed in Hanoi (Vietnam) for the delivery of a design and material package for one Damen MPV 5212. The ship, a 52 meter Multi Purpose Vessel especially equipped for oil pollution combat, will be built by Song Thu Shipyard in Danang (Vietnam). After delivery which will take place in approximately 20 months, the Damen MPV 5212 will remain in Danang as flagship of the Central Oilspill Centre of Vietnam.
