Vinashin and Damen establish a joint venture in Haiphong Vietnam

Two large shipbuilding groups have decided to establish a Joint Venture Company in Haiphong, Vietnam. Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group (Vinashin) that operates 25 shipyards, constructing various types of vessels in Vietnam and the Damen Shipyards Group from the Netherlands which operates 32 shipyards around the world have signed a joint venture contract. Together they will establish the Damen Vinashin Shipyard (DVS) in Haiphong.
