American Commercial Lines Inc. (Nasdaq: ACLI) (“ACL” or the “Company”) announced today that the Company plans to increase wage rates for hourly production and maintenance employees at the Company’s Jeffersonville, Indiana manufacturing facility by an average of approximately 11% this year, including a more than 15% wage increase for certified welders. The Company’s proposal increases the hourly wage rate for certified welders to $19.50 per hour.
