Dredging company Royal Boskalis Westminster nv hereby announces that it has won a major energy-related contract in India. The project, which will be carried out for the Swiss based Allseas Group S.A., concerns the construction of a trench for pipelines to an offshore gas field in the Bay of Bengal. This gas field is developed by Reliance Energy for the supply of gas to an onshore terminal near the city of Kakinada. The project will be carried out in a joint venture with dredging company Dredging International nv. Its contract value is € 125 million, the Boskalis share is 50%. The work will commence in September 2007 and completion is scheduled for June 2008.
