Aker Kvaerner has been awarded a contract with China Petroleum Material & Equipment (Group) Corporation (a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation) for the basic engineering design and supply of certain equipment for a new Polypropylene plant at the PetroChina GuangXi Petrochemical Company complex in GuangXi Province, People’s Republic of China. The contract value to Aker Kvaerner was not disclosed.
