At MEYER WERFT the keel was laid today of AIDAbella, the second club ship out of a series of 4 for AIDA Cruises.

The traditional lucky penny was placed under the first of a total of 55 blocks, which weighs approx. 450 tons, is 32.2 m wide, 6.90 m high and 16 m long. The ship is being built under the yard number S. 666.
