Technip has been awarded a contract by Shell for the installation of the water injection flowlines(1) and the risers(2) for the development of the Ursa and Princess fields. These fields are located in the Gulf of Mexico, about 140 miles southeast of New Orleans (Louisiana). This project consists in the tie-back of four subsea water injection wells to the Ursa platform, anchored in the Mississippi Canyon block at a water depth of approximately 3,780 feet.
